If you have returned here regularly, hoping for an update, I apologize. But I have not “stopped.” I just decided that writing an essay every time isn’t as cool as it used to be.
I still post about once a week. Just in that freaky 1:1 aspect ratio. Which, I will admit, has certain advantages when dealing with the regrettably common cinematography choice that involves the nice lady in the good-looking fur coat sharing the screen with someone far more unfortunate-looking.
Ah, I used to hate pan-and-scan, and now I love it when I’m calling the shots.
