There were very few instances of my ’90s viewing habits and my interest in fur fashion crossing over, but the Danger: Diabolik episode of MST3K (1013, the SciFi series finale) certainly hit like a truck. So, let’s take a quick look at why I missed about 2 minutes of the final riffs of the season.
Danger: Diabolik – The Film
The plot doesn’t matter if you’re here merely because you’ll drop into this flick just before the credits roll. But, for what it’s worth, it’s about a comic book super thief named Diabolik who runs elaborate heists in some non-specific European country, and it was based on a comic book of the same name.
Danger: Diabolik – The Furs

Right, “the end” is where our anti-hero Diabolik appears to have been killed in an explosion of molten gold. Enter girlfriend/accomplice Eva Kant (Marisa Mell), wearing a coat with a huge black fox-trimmed hood.
What follows is about two minutes worth of varying degrees of closeups of Marisa Mell’s beautiful face framed completely in black fox fur.
That’s it. It’s one scene at the end of the movie, but what a scene it is. This is definitely a small ratio entry, but worth every second of your time. If you think swinging 60s Marissa Mell is excellent, you can also check out the rest of the film, giving you ample opportunities to appreciate her. Despite being featured on MST3K, this is, if not a ‘great’ movie, one that certainly can be entertaining on its own.
